Four-port SATA 6 Gbps controller
This PCIe 3.0 x1 card adds four native SATA III ports using the ASMedia ASM1064 host controller. It connects up to four AHCI hard drives or solid-state drives at 6 Gbps each and supports booting from any attached disk. A low-profile bracket is included for slim chassis installations.
Suited for storage expansion without RAID
Ideal for Windows, macOS and Linux users who need extra internal SATA ports for non-RAID storage or boot drives. The card works in any PCIe x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot from Gen 1.0 to 4.0. Not for builders who require hardware RAID levels or port-multiplier enclosures beyond command-based switching.
ASM1064 host controller decides compatibility
The ASMedia ASM1064 provides four independent SATA III channels with NCQ, staggered spin-up and AHCI 1.0 support. It operates on Intel, AMD, ARM and Mac platforms with in-box drivers for most operating systems listed. Verify your OS appears in the supported versions before purchase.

Spørgsmål om denne vare
Should I choose the 4-port version or a 2-port card for adding four SATA 3.0 drives?
The card provides exactly four SATA 6Gbps ports, so a single unit connects four drives without needing multiple cards.
Will each SATA 6Gbps port actually deliver 6Gbps throughput inside my PC?
Each port runs at up to 6Gbps per the ASM1064 controller, while the PCIe 3.0 x1 link supplies 8Gbps total bandwidth shared across all four ports.
Does the PCIe 3.0 x1 interface limit the combined speed of the four SATA ports?
The x1 slot caps aggregate throughput at 8Gbps, so simultaneous full-speed transfers on all four 6Gbps ports will be constrained by the PCIe link.
