The Silverstone SST-RM32 is a 3U steel server chassis finished in white that fits standard 19-inch racks. It accepts ATX, Extended ATX, Micro ATX, Mini ITX, SSI CEB and SSI EEB motherboards. Four full-height expansion slots allow a high-end graphics card up to 177mm wide. Builders who need more than four PCIe slots or dual-GPU configurations cannot use this chassis.

Sustained thermal headroom

Three 120mm front fan positions and two 60mm rear fans feed a front radiator bracket that accepts 120mm, 240mm or 360mm units up to 80mm thick in push-pull layout. CPU air coolers up to 110mm tall are supported, dropping to 86mm when the cooler sits below the riser cable. The steel structure and directed airflow keep component temperatures stable during continuous compute workloads.

Steel construction with SFX-L or 2U CRPS redundant

The chassis uses steel panels and provides front I/O with one USB Type-C and two USB 3.0 ports. Drive capacity covers two 3.5-inch or two 2.5-inch bays plus three additional 2.5-inch positions. Power supply depth is limited to 250mm unless the 3.5-inch cage is removed. LED indicators show power, drive and dual LAN activity. Buyers needing hot-swap drive trays or integrated backplane storage must look elsewhere.
