The included NVMe SSD provides read speeds over 18 times faster than a TF card and write speeds over 5 times faster. This storage headroom supports continuous data logging and model inference without the bottlenecks typical of slower removable media. The reduced chassis dimensions aid thermal management in enclosed installations.

Storage Configuration Decides Fit

The module ships with 16G eMMC and no TF card slot, so the bundled 128G NVMe drive is the primary expansion path. Buyers who need removable media or larger onboard eMMC must look elsewhere. The kit's physical envelope measures 100mm by 80mm by 29mm, compared to the original kit's 103mm by 90.5mm by 34mm. This size reduction may affect carrier-board compatibility in existing designs.
