The LONGER Ray5 10W Laser Engraver provides a 400 × 400 mm working area suitable for hobbyists and small workshops processing wood, acrylic, leather and metal sheets. A 3.5-inch colour touchscreen and four transmission methods — Wi-Fi, USB, TF card and app — allow standalone operation without a permanent PC connection. It runs LaserGRBL and LightBurn on Windows, macOS and Linux.

0.06 mm Spot Size Upgrade

The 0.06 × 0.06 mm compression spot is 50 % smaller than standard lasers, concentrating energy for sharper lines and finer textures on detailed artwork. A 32-bit core motherboard replaces older 8-bit boards for smoother motion planning and steadier data handling. Buyers who need a larger bed or higher optical power for thicker stock will find this platform limiting.

Dual-Beam Sustained Output

Dual-beam technology delivers a maximum engraving speed of 24 000 mm per minute while the active position protection, overheat safeguards and current safety control manage thermal load during long cuts. The 10 W module cleanly cuts 20 mm wood and 30 mm acrylic in a single pass, maintaining consistent depth across the full bed. Continuous heavy vector work may still require external air assist for optimal edge quality.
