Embedded N100 Mini ITX Board

The ASRock N100DC-ITX integrates an Intel Quad-Core Processor N100 running up to 3.4 GHz onto a 6.7" x 6.7" Mini ITX PCB. It targets compact builds such as home servers, digital signage players or fanless HTPCs where a discrete CPU socket is not required. A single DDR4 DIMM slot accepts non-ECC un-buffered modules up to 3200 MT/s with a 32 GB capacity ceiling. The board draws power through a 19 V DC jack with a 5.5 x 2.5 mm barrel.

Installation Notes

Mounting follows standard Mini ITX hole spacing so the board fits any compatible chassis. The DC jack replaces a traditional ATX connector; verify that your 19 V adapter uses the 5.5 x 2.5 mm plug before powering on. Only one memory slot exists, so dual-channel operation is impossible — populate it with a single 32 GB stick for maximum capacity. The PCIe 3.0 x4 slot is electrically wired for x2 mode, limiting bandwidth for add-in cards. An M.2 Key E socket (type 2230) is reserved for Intel CNVio Wi-Fi/BT modules, not for SSD storage.

Interface Limits

The M.2 Key M slot (type 2280) runs at PCIe Gen3 x2, capping sequential throughput at 16 Gb/s — roughly half of a full x4 NVMe link. Two SATA3 ports provide 6.0 Gb/s each for 2.5" drives. Rear video outputs are D-Sub and HDMI, driven by the processor's integrated graphics. Networking is handled by a Realtek 8111H Gigabit LAN controller (10/100/1000 Mb/s). Audio uses the Realtek ALC897 codec for 7.1-channel output. USB connectivity comprises two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports and four USB 2.0 ports on the back panel.
