The ASUS ExpertWiFi EBM68 delivers tri-band Wi-Fi 6 with a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor. It supports wireless data rates up to 7800 Mbps across 2.4 GHz and two 5 GHz bands using 160 MHz channels. Six internal antennas provide coverage for office environments. The router suits small businesses that need separate, secure networks for staff, guests and IoT devices.
2.5G WAN, three Gigabit LAN, USB 3.2 Gen 1
A single 2.5G WAN port handles high-speed internet connections while three 10/100/1000M LAN ports serve wired clients. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface allows file sharing or printer access. One power LED shows status at a glance. WPS, reset and power buttons sit on the chassis. The unit includes a wall-mount kit for flexible placement on a desk or wall.
Upgrades from WiFi 5 or single-band routers
Replacing a WiFi 5 or single-band router adds 160 MHz channel support and higher 5 GHz throughput up to 4804 Mbps on the second 5 GHz band. The jump is worthwhile when the office has many concurrent clients, needs up to five SSIDs for traffic separation, or wants AiMesh expansion up to 12 nodes. It does not suit buyers who need more than three wired LAN ports or a dedicated multi-gig LAN port.
