This motherboard fits the Intel LGA 1200 socket and supports 10th and 11th generation Core processors plus Pentium Gold and Celeron chips. It uses the Intel B560 chipset on a Micro-ATX form factor, giving builders a compact platform for gaming or productivity systems. Four 288-pin DDR4 slots accept up to 128 GB of memory in dual-channel mode.
The primary PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and the M.2_1 slot only run at PCIe 4.0 speeds when an 11th generation processor is installed; with a 10th generation CPU the M.2_1 slot is disabled and the graphics slot falls back to PCIe 3.0. A second M.2_2 slot operates through the chipset at PCIe 3.0 speeds. Six SATA 6 Gb/s ports provide additional storage connectivity.
The board mounts in any Micro-ATX compatible case using standard standoffs and a typical I/O shield. Builders must match the CPU generation to the features they need — 11th Gen for PCIe 4.0 M.2 and x16, 10th Gen for basic operation — and populate memory in the correct slots for dual-channel performance. Forgetting the 8-pin CPU power connector or using the wrong M.2 slot for the installed CPU are the most frequent setup errors.

Both 10th and 11th Gen Intel Core, Pentium Gold and Celeron CPUs fit the LGA 1200 socket. 11th Gen unlocks PCIe 4.0 on the primary M.2 slot and supports DDR4 up to 3200 natively; 10th Gen runs the same slot at PCIe 3.0 and tops out at DDR4 2933 without overclocking.
5000 MT/s is an overclocked speed that requires a compatible 11th Gen CPU, a Z-series or B560 board with XMP support, and manual tuning in BIOS. Out of the box the board runs at 2133 MT/s; you must enable the XMP profile and may need to adjust voltage to reach 5000 MT/s stably.
The top PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and the M.2_1 slot run at PCIe 4.0 x4 only with an 11th Gen processor; with a 10th Gen CPU they fall back to PCIe 3.0 and M.2_1 is disabled. The second M.2 slot (M.2_2) is wired to the B560 PCH and always operates at PCIe 3.0 x4 regardless of CPU generation.
