Targeted 16 GB DDR3 kit for HP Compaq Pro 6305 SFF

This 16 GB kit contains two 8 GB unbuffered non-ECC DIMMs built to the DDR3 1600 PC3 12800 standard. It is designed as a direct memory upgrade for the HP Compaq Pro 6305 Small Form Factor Business PC. The modules use 240-pin DDR3 SDRAM with a CAS latency of CL11.

Sustained operation at 1333 MHz due to chipset

Although the modules are rated for 1600 MHz the compatible chipset in the target system runs memory at 1333 MHz. Under continuous load the kit will therefore operate at this lower frequency while maintaining the rated 1.5 V voltage and 11-11-11 timings. The dual-rank 2Rx8 organisation remains unchanged.

Maximum supported capacity is 32 GB across four

The HP Compaq Pro 6305 SFF supports up to 32 GB of memory in its four DIMM slots. This 16 GB kit occupies two of those slots and leaves room for further expansion. A 64-bit operating system is required to address memory above 4 GB.
