The DELL Latitude 7212 is a detachable 2-in-1 laptop built to MIL-STD rugged standards. An 11.6 inch FHD touchscreen, Intel Core i7-8650U processor and 16 GB of soldered memory run Windows 11 Pro. The 512 GB M.2 2242 SSD provides solid-state storage in a chassis rated for drops, vibration and extreme temperatures.

Included adapter and expansion

A 65-watt AC adapter ships in the box so the 3-cell battery can be recharged immediately. Connectivity covers USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A, USB Type-C with DisplayPort, mini HDMI via Type-C, micro-SD reader, micro-SIM slot, 3.5 mm audio jack, a docking connector with dual RF pass-through and a pogo-pin modular expansion port for purpose-built accessories.

Storage ceiling and memory lock

The M.2 2242 slot accepts a single drive up to 1 TB, so total capacity cannot exceed that limit. Memory is soldered to the board with zero slots available, fixing RAM at 16 GB for the life of the device. Buyers who need more storage or upgradeable memory should look elsewhere.
