This blade installs directly into a PowerEdge MX or M1000e enclosure, drawing power, cooling and fabric connectivity from the chassis mid-plane. Two 2.5-inch drive bays accept SAS or SATA drives, while the Broadcom 57810S-K daughter card provides dual-port 10 Gb Ethernet without consuming a PCIe slot.
