It ships with two Intel Xeon E5-2680 v4 processors, each running at 2.4 GHz with a 3.3 GHz turbo frequency and 14 cores. The platform supports up to two processors in LGA 2011-3 sockets on an Intel C610 chipset.

Suited for High-Capacity SAS Storage Deployments

The chassis provides 24 front-accessible 2.5-inch drive bays, all populated with 2.4 TB 10K SAS hard drives connected to a PERC H730 controller with 1 GB cache. The controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60 and pass-through modes.
