This 2U rack server delivers dense storage in a compact chassis. It ships with a single Intel Xeon E5-2609v3 six-core processor at 1.9GHz and 16GB of DDR4 memory. Three 300GB 15K SAS drives and a Perc H730 RAID controller with 1GB cache are installed. Dual 750W redundant power supplies and a DVD ROM complete the base configuration.

The chassis measures 26.8 inches deep, so confirm your rack can accommodate that length. Only one processor is installed but the board supports a second Xeon for additional cores. Memory runs at speeds up to 2400MT/s depending on the CPU; the 24 DIMM slots allow expansion to 1536GB total. The system includes a 4-port 1GbE daughter card with optional 10GbE upgrades.

H730 controller enables flexible RAID

The bundled H730 12Gbps RAID card supports levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across the 24 hot-plug 2.5-inch bays.
