Twelve 3.5-inch drive bays are populated with 8 TB enterprise hard drives.

Twelve-bay SATA and SAS limit

The PERC H730P controller manages up to twelve SATA or SAS drives through a 12 Gb/s interface with 2 GB cache and battery backup. RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through are supported. The 3.5-inch form factor excludes 2.5-inch SSDs without adapters. Network connectivity uses a quad-port daughter card with two 1 GbE and two 10 Gb SFP+ ports.
