The Dynatron B9 is a 28 mm tall CPU air cooler built for Intel Xeon Platinum and Gold processors using the Square ILM mounting pattern. It fits 1U server chassis and ships with Shin-Etsu 7762 thermal grease pre-applied. A 90 mm PWM blower moves air directly through the copper heatsink. The unit weighs 470 g and uses a 4-pin power connector.

Sustained-load behaviour

At 20 % duty the fan spins at 1000 RPM delivering 6.8 CFM at 16 dBA. At 50 % duty it reaches 2500 RPM for 11.0 CFM at 31.5 dBA. At full 100 % duty the blower runs at 5000 RPM producing 19.0 CFM at 46.4 dBA. The double ball bearing supports continuous operation at these speeds.

28 mm height constraint

The 28 mm maximum cooler height limits use to 1U and taller rackmount enclosures. The 90 mm blower frame measures 90 x 90 x 15 mm while the copper heatsink with vapor chamber base measures 93 x 90.5 x 28 mm.
