The ESTONE E02 connects 2.5in and 3.5in SATA or IDE hard drives and 5.25in optical drives to a USB 3.0 port. It suits technicians, archivists and home users who need to recover data from older laptops or desktops without installing drives internally.
Sustained Transfer with UASP Support
The adapter delivers up to 5 Gbps over USB 3.0 and supports UASP to reduce processor overhead during long copy sessions. Backward compatibility with USB 2.0 and 1.1 ensures it functions on older hosts, while hot-swap capability lets you change drives without rebooting.
Dual IDE Headers and Dedicated Power
A 40-pin and a 44-pin IDE connector plus one SATA II connector allow two drives to be accessed simultaneously. An included 12 V 2 A power adapter is required for 3.5in IDE drives, and an on/off switch with LED status protects drives during connection changes.
