The GL.iNet GL-BE3600 Slate 7 is a pocket-sized wireless router built for travellers who need secure, high-speed internet in hotels, on cruises or in mobile homes. It delivers dual-band Wi-Fi 7 with combined wireless rates of 688Mbps on 2.4GHz and 2882Mbps on 5GHz. The device runs OpenWrt 23.05 on 1GB DDR4 and 512MB flash, giving advanced users full plugin access without coding. It is not suited for buyers who need more than two Ethernet ports or multi-gigabit WAN beyond 2.5G.

Touchscreen Control and Global Power

A built-in colour touchscreen lets you scan Wi-Fi QR codes, monitor live speeds, toggle VPN connections and switch providers directly on the device. Two foldable external antennas fold flat for packing and extend for better coverage. One 2.5G WAN and one 2.5G LAN port handle wired uplinks and local devices. A USB 3.0 interface supports tethering or storage. The router ships with US, UK, EU and AU plug adapters for worldwide use and draws power via USB-C with PD compatibility at 5V/3A, 9V/3A or 12V/2.5A.

WPA3, DNS-over-HTTPS and native IPv6 protect every connection without adding latency.
