Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a pair of 1 TB SATA drives sit behind the B140i software RAID controller. It targets workloads that need high core density and fast single-thread speed in constrained cabinet space.

Dual 500 W hot-swap supplies

Redundant 500 W power supplies share the load and can be swapped without downtime. The 1U chassis routes airflow front-to-back across the CPUs, memory and drive bays. Acoustic output stays within typical data-centre limits for a rack-mount server of this class.

Sustained multi-thread throughput

With twelve physical cores and twenty-four threads the system maintains clock speeds across extended compile, database or virtualisation jobs. The B140i controller handles RAID 0, 1, 5 or 10 on the SATA array without a hardware cache, so write-heavy streams settle at the drives' native 7.2 K RPM rate. Memory runs at up to 2400 MT/s across twenty-four DIMM slots, all populated to the 64 GB ceiling supported by the installed CPUs.
