It is aimed at organisations that need a compact, redundant platform for virtualisation, database or file-serving tasks. A second processor can be added later to double core count.

Memory and storage headroom

The system includes 4 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory across 24 DIMM slots, with the chipset supporting up to 3 TB total when both CPU sockets are populated. Two 146 GB 15K SAS drives provide fast local storage on the Smart HBA H240ar controller, which handles RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. The eight SFF bays leave room for additional SAS or SATA drives, and NVME bays are available in specific slots.

Dual 500 W redundant power supplies

Hot-swap 500 W power modules share the load and maintain uptime if one unit fails. The Matrox G200eH2 graphics chip draws minimal power for basic console output. Fans scale with inlet temperature and processor load; under typical virtualised workloads the chassis runs within normal data-centre acoustic limits. No operating system is included.
