Blade server for dual-processor workloads

The HPE BL460c Gen10 blade server fits a single blade enclosure slot and ships with two Xeon Gold 6138 processors running at 2.0 GHz. It provides 20 cores per processor and 27.5 MB cache for compute-intensive tasks such as virtualisation or database hosting. The unit is new and firmware is updated to the latest stable release before shipment.

Blade enclosure limits expansion

Only two 2.5-inch drive bays exist in the blade form factor, so internal storage is capped at the installed pair of 1.8 TB SAS hard drives. The Smart Array P204i-b SR controller manages RAID across those bays, but no additional internal disks can be added. Network connectivity relies on the FlexFabric 20 Gb 2-port 650FLB adapter already present.

Maximum memory is fixed at 128 GB

The server arrives with 128 GB of DDR4 ECC registered memory installed, which matches the platform maximum of 128 GB. No further memory upgrades are possible on this configuration. Buyers who need more capacity must choose a different server model.
