Thermals and Power with Dual 800 W Supplies

Cooling is handled by eight hot-swap standard fans that maintain airflow through the 4U tower chassis. The power subsystem uses two HPE 800 W Flex Slot Platinum hot-plug low-halogen power supplies, providing redundancy for continuous operation. The Broadcom BCM5719 1 Gb four-port BASE-T OCP3 adapter manages network traffic without adding significant thermal load. The chassis offers two to ten PCIe Gen5 slots plus two OCP 3.0 bays for adding network, storage or accelerator cards as workloads grow. The bundled MR408i-o Gen11 controller delivers x8 lanes and 4 GB cache with OCP SPDM support, enabling RAID management for the included SATA SSDs and future drives.
