Dual Xeon workstation board

The HUANANZHI T8D X99 motherboard ships with two Xeon E5 2696 V3 processors installed. Each CPU provides 18 cores and 36 threads at 2.3 GHz base frequency. The LGA 2011-3 platform targets multi-threaded workloads such as rendering, virtualization and scientific compute.

Sustained load behaviour

A 12-layer PCB and 12-phase power delivery feed both sockets through 24-pin and dual 8-pin connectors. Four-channel DDR3 runs at 1866, 1600 or 1333 MHz with ECC support across eight slots. The C612-series chipset handles 6 SATA 3.0 and 4 SSATA 3.0 ports without throttling under continuous I/O.

Installation notes

The E-ATX form factor measures 300 by 320 mm and requires a compatible chassis. Two M.2 slots accept 2280 and 22110 lengths; the 2280 slot shares an SSATA lane so only one device can use that signal. Six fan headers and front-panel USB 2.0, USB 3.0 and audio pins are provided for case connectivity.
