A PCA9685 PWM driver delivers 12-bit resolution signals to the two servos, while a TSL2581FN light-to-digital converter with embedded ADC returns readings that approximate human eye response. An included acrylic board secures the Raspberry Pi camera module, turning the bare PCB into a ready-to-mount pan-tilt unit.

Wiring simplicity and common pitfalls

Only two I2C pins are required for both motion and light data, and an onboard voltage level translator handles 3.3 V and 5 V logic automatically.
