Registered DIMMs install like standard DDR4 modules but require motherboard support for registered signalling and ECC. The six-module kit fills all channels on compatible THINKMATE boards; mixing with unbuffered or non-ECC memory will prevent boot. No heat spreaders are fitted, so airflow across the DIMM rows must be maintained by the server chassis fans.

Verify that your system is a THINKMATE STX-WS-QS12-12E2 or STX-WS-QE36-14E2 before ordering; other platforms are not validated by the supplier. Confirm the motherboard accepts 4Rx4 registered DDR4 at 3200MHz and that the BIOS is current enough to initialise the full 768GB population. Systems needing unbuffered memory or consumer DIMM lengths cannot use this kit.
