It targets miners and compute-cluster builders who need maximum card density on one platform without riser cables. No onboard audio is fitted, but a 100 Gigabit network controller is integrated.

PCIe spacing and lane limits

Each of the eight slots sits on a 65 mm centre-to-centre pitch, giving physical room for thick dual- or triple-slot coolers such as the 3090. The chipset provides a finite number of upstream lanes, so every additional card shares bandwidth; eight cards cannot all run at full electrical width simultaneously.
