This 32GB kit contains two 16GB DDR4 2666 PC4-21300 CL19 modules. It is built for Synology SA3400, SA410, SA3600 and SA3610 NAS systems that require ECC registered RDIMMs. Standard desktop computers cannot use this memory type.

Registered DDR4 limited to 2666

The modules run at 2666 MHz and also operate at 2133 or 2400 MHz when the platform demands a lower speed. Registered buffering and ECC are mandatory on these systems; unbuffered or load-reduced DIMMs will not work alongside them.

Dual-channel kit installs in matched pairs

The two 288-pin DIMMs are sold as a matched set for dual-channel operation. Installation follows normal server DIMM procedure. Mixing with non-registered or non-ECC memory will prevent the system from booting.
