The Qnap TL-R1200C-RP-US is a 12-bay 2U rackmount JBOD expansion unit. It connects to a host NAS or server via USB-C 3.1 Gen2 at 10Gbps. A redundant power supply is included for continuous operation. A one-meter USB-C to USB-A 3.1 Gen2 cable is supplied.
Suits JBOD expansion only
This unit serves as raw storage expansion without an onboard operating system or RAID engine. It is not suited for standalone file sharing, application hosting or direct network attachment. Buyers who need an independent NAS with its own management layer should look elsewhere.
