Dual M.2 SATA Expansion
This SMUGDESK adapter converts a single SATA port into two independent channels for NGFF M.2 B Key SATA SSDs. It enables simultaneous connection of two drives to expand storage capacity in desktop systems. The card is designed exclusively for SATA protocol M.2 modules and will not function with NVMe variants.
Sustained Data Stability
An optimised circuit layout and quality components maintain reliable signal integrity during continuous operation. The SATA 3.0 interface provides up to 6Gbps bandwidth for consistent throughput on file copies, backups and multi-tasking workloads. Plug-and-play support across major operating systems avoids driver-related interruptions.
SATA M.2 Upgrade Path
This adapter replaces the need for spare 2.5-inch bays or additional SATA controllers when adding M.2 SATA solid state drives. The upgrade is worthwhile when a system has free SATA ports but lacks physical slots for the M.2 form factor. It does not support NVMe drives or provide PCIe connectivity.

Kysymyksiä tästä tuotteesta
Does the adapter generate noticeable heat or draw extra power when two M.2 SATA SSDs run continuously?
The card uses an optimized circuit layout and quality components to maintain stable signal transmission during long-hour operation without added cooling requirements.
What existing connection does my motherboard need so this card can provide two SATA ports for M.2 B-Key SSDs?
You need one free SATA 3.0 port on the motherboard; the adapter splits that single port into two independent SATA channels for the M.2 drives.
Will this adapter work alongside an older SATA 2.0 drive I want to keep in the same system?
Yes, the adapter complies with the SATA 3.0 standard and is backward compatible with SATA 2.0 devices, so both generations can coexist.
