The TP-Link Deco X90 two-pack creates a tri-band WiFi 6 mesh network rated at 6600 Mbps combined throughput. It covers up to 6000 square feet and supports up to 200 connected devices. Each unit provides one 2.5 Gbps port and one Gigabit port for wired links. The system replaces a traditional router and extenders with a single mesh.

Sustained load behaviour

AI-Driven Mesh continuously learns the network environment and client quality to optimise routing decisions over time. Smart antennas auto-detect other Deco units and strengthen the wireless backhaul between them. OFDMA and MU-MIMO keep capacity high when many devices transmit simultaneously. Tri-band operation reserves a 5 GHz band for backhaul traffic to reduce contention.

Thermals noise and power

The units are designed for continuous indoor operation with passive cooling and no moving parts. Normal use produces no audible fan noise.
