Desktop UPS with AVR protection
The Tripp Lite BC600TU is a line-interactive battery backup that delivers 600 VA and 360 W at 120 V AC. It protects PCs, routers, home-theatre components and digital-signage gear from blackouts, brownouts, overvoltages, surges and line noise. Six NEMA 5-15R outlets provide battery-backed and surge-protected connections for a compact workstation or media centre.
Sustained-load behaviour
Automatic voltage regulation corrects minor sags and swells without draining the internal VRLA battery, so the unit runs cool during typical daily fluctuations. When utility power fails, the battery takes over and can keep an energy-efficient desktop with a small LCD monitor running for up to 35 minutes, giving time to save files and shut down gracefully. Backup duration shortens as the connected load increases toward the 360 W limit.
Pre-installation checks
Verify that your equipment plugs into NEMA 5-15R sockets and that the combined draw stays below 360 W to avoid overload shutdown. Confirm the installation site can accommodate a 120 V AC supply at 110 V, 115 V or 120 V nominal output. The replaceable VRLA battery is user-serviceable, so plan for periodic replacement to maintain full runtime capability.
