This 32GB registered DIMM runs at 2133MHz with CL15 latency and 1.20V operation. It is built for Dell PowerEdge R430, R530, R630, R630 XL, R730, R730 XL, R730xd, R730xd XL, R830 and R930 servers. The module uses a 2Rx4 organisation and major-brand chipset. It is not compatible with desktop or laptop systems that require non-ECC unbuffered memory.
The module operates at the standard DDR4 voltage of 1.20V and has no heat spreader. Registered buffering reduces electrical load on the server memory controller. Power consumption scales with capacity and rank configuration. Acoustic output is silent as the DIMM contains no moving parts.
The 288-pin DDR4 form factor fits the registered DIMM slots of the listed 13th Gen PowerEdge platforms. ECC registered and ECC load-reduced modules cannot be mixed; all installed modules must share the same ECC type. Speeds may be mixed, but the system will run at the speed of the slowest module. One module is supplied per package.

Power down the server, open the chassis, align the module key with the slot, and press firmly until the ejectors click. The common mistake is mixing this 2Rx4 registered DIMM with load-reduced or unbuffered modules — all installed DIMMs must share the same ECC type.
No scheduled maintenance is required for the module itself. Keep the server air filters clean so the 1.20V DRAM stays within thermal limits. Replace the unit only if diagnostics report uncorrectable ECC errors or the system fails to POST with this DIMM seated.
The memory controller caps throughput at the slowest installed speed — 2133 MT/s PC4-17000. If faster DIMMs share the channel, they down-clock to this rate. Thermal throttling on the unbuffered 2Rx4 chips can also activate before bandwidth saturates.
