The J1900 runs at a low TDP without fans, so clock speeds stay steady during long shifts instead of throttling in short bursts. Dual mini PCIe slots allow adding Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or 4G modules without increasing thermal load. Dual Gigabit Ethernet ports and up to six configurable COM ports handle continuous data streams from PLCs and cameras. The system supports watchdog timers and PXE boot for unattended recovery.
