The AMD Ryzen 7 2700X is an eight-core, sixteen-thread desktop CPU built on the 12nm Pinnacle Ridge architecture. 105 W thermal design with no cooler included

The processor carries a 105 W TDP, so a capable aftermarket air or liquid cooler is required to sustain the 4.3 GHz max boost frequency under load. At the 3.7 GHz base clock the chip runs within its power envelope while keeping temperatures manageable for typical workloads. Precision Boost 2 and SenseMI technology adjust voltages and clocks dynamically to balance performance, noise and power draw in everyday use.
