Will this kit run at 5600 MHz on a motherboard that only supports JEDEC speeds?

The modules are rated for 5600 MHz with XMP 3.0. If the board cannot enable XMP they will fall back to the standard JEDEC DDR5 speed the platform supports.

Do I need to enable anything in the BIOS to reach the advertised frequency?

Yes. The 5600 MHz rating is an XMP 3.0 profile. You must enter the firmware and select that profile for the kit to run at its tested timing of 40-40-40-77.

Is the heat spreader tall enough to interfere with a large CPU cooler?

The black heat spreader adds height to each 288-pin DIMM. Measure your cooler's clearance against the module height before ordering.
