SATA M.2 NGFF to 2.5" adapter for B-key SSDs

This adapter converts a SATA-based M.2 NGFF SSD with B-key or B+M-key edge connectors into a standard 2.5-inch SATA drive. It accepts full-length modules in 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 sizes. The card connects to a host SATA port running at 1.5, 3.0 or 6.0 Gbps. It is designed for systems with a 2.5-inch drive bay and a SATA interface.

Passive conversion with no added software

The bundle contains only the adapter board; no drivers, firmware utilities or mounting screws are included. The card simply reroutes the SATA signal pins from the M.2 slot to the 2.5-inch connector. This adapter will not work with PCIe-based M-key or M+B-key NVME SSDs such as the Samsung 950, 960 or 961 series.
