The 4-pin PWM connector allows the motherboard to vary speed between 800 and 2000 RPM based on temperature. Noise is rated at 29 dBA at full speed.

Daisy-chain interlock system

The slide-in pin-to-pin mechanism links fans together so only one cable runs from the cluster to the motherboard.
