The BG-UPTZ-12XHSU-W is a 2 megapixel network camera with 12x optical zoom and simultaneous HDMI, 3G-SDI, USB 3.0 and IP streaming outputs. It targets houses of worship, universities, hospitals and performing arts centres that need a single camera for live production and direct streaming to platforms. Control options include IR remote, IP VISCA, ONVIF and cascadable RS-232/485 with 255 preset positions.

Sustained streaming and multi-output operation

The camera encodes H.264 or H.265 at up to 1080p60 while driving HDMI, 3G-SDI and USB 3.0 concurrently, so the processor handles continuous compression and multiple signal paths without dropping frames. Pan and tilt speeds reach 80° per second horizontally and 60° per second vertically across the 340° pan and -30° to +90° tilt range, maintaining smooth motion during long events. Power over Ethernet delivers 12 V DC over the LAN cable, removing the need for a local power supply during extended sessions.

IP streaming protocol and bandwidth limits

ONVIF, RTSP, RTMP and GB/T28181 are the supported network protocols, so the stream fits standard NVR and software ecosystems but cannot use proprietary or newer transport methods. The single 3.5 mm line input embeds external audio into the IP feed, yet there is no built-in microphone or additional audio interface. Maximum resolution stays at 1080p, so 4K workflows and higher-bitrate codecs beyond H.265 are not supported.
