Targeted DDR3 Upgrade

This kit supplies 4 GB total as two 2 GB unbuffered non-ECC DIMMs rated for DDR3 1333 (PC3 10600). It is built for HP/Compaq Elite 8100 SFF and Elite 8000 SFF Convt systems that require 240-pin DDR3 memory running at 1.5 V with CL9 timing. Buyers needing ECC, registered modules or capacities beyond 4 GB per kit will not be served by this product.

DDR3 1333 Bus Ceiling

The memory operates at the 1333 MT/s ceiling of the DDR3 10600 standard, so bandwidth is capped at that data rate regardless of the processor or chipset installed. A 32-bit operating system can address only 4 GB total, while a 64-bit OS can use up to 16 GB across the platform's four slots. Systems limited to lower DDR3 speeds will down-clock these modules automatically.

Plain Green PCB Modules

Each stick is a standard-height 240-pin DIMM without a heat spreader, allowing it to fit the tight clearances of small-form-factor Elite chassis. The 2Rx8 organisation uses major-brand chips on an unbuffered PCB, and the kit includes two matched sticks for dual-channel population. No additional brackets, cables or cooling hardware are included or required.
