Your motherboard must expose a Gen5 M.2 slot to reach these figures; a Gen4 slot will cap the transfer rates.
The module uses the M.2 2280 form factor and ships with an integrated aluminum-and-copper heatsink that must stay attached for thermal control. Ensure the motherboard standoff is set for 2280 length and that case airflow passes over the heatsink; restricted airflow is the typical cause of throttling.
