Redundant 550 W supply and front-to-rear airflow

A single 550 watt hot-swap power module provides N+1 redundancy while pulling cool air through the front drive cage and exhausting it at the rear. The H730 RAID controller with one gigabyte cache manages eight 300 GB 15 K SAS spindles without adding measurable acoustic load. Four 1 GbE ports and two PCIe 3.0 slots handle network and expansion traffic within the same thermal envelope.

H730 controller and iDRAC8 simplify storage

The Perc H730 supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 so the eight installed drives can be arranged for capacity or resilience.
