This GIGABYTE H510M D2VX SI motherboard fits the LGA 1200 socket and accepts 10th and 11th generation Intel Core i9, i7 and i5 processors. The micro-ATX form factor measures 24.4 by 21 cm and provides two DDR4 DIMM slots. It is aimed at builders who need a compact Intel platform without enthusiast features.
The board carries one PCI Express x16 slot that runs at PCI Express 4.0 speeds when an 11th generation processor is installed; with a 10th generation CPU it operates at the lower generation. Two additional PCI Express x1 slots run at PCI Express 3.0. Four SATA III ports and one M.2 interface handle storage, while the Realtek GbE LAN controller is limited to 1 Gbit and 100 Mbit rates.
The chipset supports up to 64 GB of DDR4 memory, which must be populated across the two available DIMM slots. This ceiling decides whether the board suits a given workload; systems needing more memory will require a different chipset. Onboard USB provides four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and six USB 2.0 ports, and the Realtek audio codec supports up to 7.1 channel output.
