This pack contains two development boards built around the original FT232RL chip with a USB-C connector. Each board provides a UART TTL interface for serial communication with microcontrollers, sensors, or other embedded hardware. The modules are ready to use across Mac OS, Linux, Android, WinCE, and Windows versions from 7 through 11. They suit engineers, hobbyists, and students who need reliable USB-to-serial bridges for prototyping or debugging.
The boards fit workflows that require a direct USB-C link to a target device running at 3.3V or 5V logic levels. Three jumper-selectable power modes let you supply 5V, supply 3.3V, or draw power from the target board itself. Builders who need galvanic isolation, multiple simultaneous ports, or a different connector type should look at other solutions.
A three-position jumper chooses the VCCIO voltage: 5V output, 3.3V output, or open for target-supplied power between 3.3V and 5V. This single setting determines whether the board matches your target's logic level and power requirements. TXD, RXD, RTS#, and CTS# pins are on standard pinheaders, with additional signals on drilled holes spaced for universal prototype boards.
