It installs directly into the server's 288-pin DDR5 slots.

Database servers, virtualisation hosts and high-thread-count compute nodes benefit from the 192GB capacity and registered buffer. Workstations or desktops requiring unbuffered UDIMMs cannot use these modules. Builders needing lower density per DIMM or non-ECC memory should select a different kit.
