It is built for THINKMATE RAX-XS4-21S1-10G, RAX-XS4-11S1-10G and RAX-XH2-11S3 rackmount servers that require registered ECC memory. The 2Rx8 organisation and 288-pin form factor match the platform's registered DIMM slots. Builders needing unbuffered UDIMMs or non-ECC memory for desktop platforms cannot use this kit.
