The enclosure supports a single SATA drive of any capacity up to and beyond 16 TB, so large archival disks work without a capacity ceiling. Transfer speeds reach 625 MB/s over USB 3.0, limited by the drive itself, and the interface falls back to USB 2.0 or 1.1 when connected to older ports. Installation is a matter of sliding the tray out, placing the drive on the ABS shock-absorbing tray, and pushing the tray back until it clicks. The aluminium shell aids heat dissipation and rigidity.
