The Seagate Archive HDD ST8000AS0022 is an 8TB 3.5-inch internal hard drive built for bulk data storage. Its 5900 RPM spindle and 128MB cache suit write-once, read-many workloads such as media libraries, backups and long-term archiving. The SATA 6.0Gb/s interface connects to standard desktop motherboards and external enclosures. Shingled magnetic recording optimises areal density for cost-effective capacity.
