This motherboard fits the LGA 1151 socket and the Intel C242 chipset. It accepts Intel Xeon E-2100 and E-2200 processors plus 8th and 9th generation Core i3, Pentium and Celeron CPUs up to 95W TDP. The micro ATX layout suits compact chassis and embedded deployments.
One PCIe 3.0 x8 slot in a x16 connector and two PCIe 3.0 x4 slots in x8 connectors provide expansion for storage or networking cards. Six SATA 6.0Gb/s ports support RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10. Dual Intel I210 controllers deliver two 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet links. The M.2 connector uses a PCIe 3.0 x4 interface with M-key 2280/22110 form factors.
Four DIMM slots accept unbuffered 72-bit ECC modules at 2667, 2400 or 2133 MHz. Maximum supported capacity is 128GB. Builders needing registered DIMMs, higher speeds or larger totals must choose a different platform.

The board accepts up to 128GB of DDR4 2667 ECC UDIMM across four DIMM slots; choose modules that match that speed and ECC type.
Installed DDR4 2667 ECC UDIMM will run at up to 2667MHz; if slower 2400 or 2133 modules are used, the memory bus drops to the lowest installed speed.
The single x16-sized slot provides PCIe 3.0 x8 bandwidth, capping throughput at eight lanes for GPUs, NICs or storage controllers.
