The Supermicro SYS-6019U-TN4R4T is a 1U rack server equipped with two Intel Xeon Gold 5118 processors running at 2.30 GHz with 12 cores each. It ships with 32GB of DDR4 2400MHz registered ECC memory installed across four modules. The system targets virtualization hosts, software-defined storage nodes and high-performance computing clusters that need dense compute in a single rack unit.

Upgrade from single-socket or older Xeon

Moving from a single-socket platform doubles the core count to 24 and adds a second memory controller, which helps memory-bound workloads such as virtualisation and database caching. The jump is worth it when licensing is per socket and the application scales across NUMA nodes, or when the 3.2 GHz turbo frequency shortens batch windows compared with previous 2.3 GHz parts.

Dense build with four 3.5" bays and 10G networking

Four hot-swap 3.5" SATA/SAS trays connect to an LSI MegaRAID 9361-8i controller supporting RAID 0/1/5/6/10/50/60 with 1GB cache and battery backup. AOC-UR-i4XT adds four 10GBase-T ports via Intel X540 controllers. Dual 750W platinum power supplies provide redundancy. IPMI 2.0 with dedicated RJ45 enables remote KVM and virtual media. No front bezel or rack rails are included.
