Portable power for wearables
This coin cell holder fits two 2032 batteries in series to supply 6V nominal for small portable or wearable projects. The plastic body snaps open and closed and weighs 4.7 grams empty or 10.5 grams with cells installed. A built-in on/off switch lets you cut power without removing batteries. The 150mm lead ends in a 2mm JST PH connector.
Capacity and headroom
Two 20mm cells provide roughly 220mAh at 6V, which suits low-draw devices such as LED indicators or microcontroller boards. The holder accepts only 20mm coin cells, so larger formats will not fit. The single JST PH connector means one load at a time unless you splice the wires. Current capability is limited by the coin cell chemistry, not the holder itself.
Switch and connector benefits
The on/off switch adds a convenient way to preserve cell life during development or storage. The 2mm JST PH plug mates with matching headers on many Adafruit boards, but the lead can be cut and re-terminated for other connectors. The snap closure holds cells securely, yet tape can reinforce it for high-vibration use. No batteries are included with the holder.
