The ASUS ROG RYUJIN III 240 is an all-in-one liquid CPU cooler built around a 240 mm radiator and a copper cold plate. It targets enthusiasts who want real-time system monitoring on a built-in 3.5 inch colour LCD and the option to display custom GIF animations. Compatibility covers AMD Socket AM4, AM5 and Intel LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1200 and 1700 platforms.

240 mm radiator limits

The 279.5 x 120 x 30 mm aluminium radiator fits two 120 mm fan slots, so case clearance must accommodate that length and thickness. Two Noctua industrialPPC 120 mm fans spin between 450 and 2000 RPM, moving up to 71.6 CFM at a maximum of 29.7 dB(A). The 400 mm sleeved rubber tubes set the maximum distance between the pump block and radiator mounting points.

Cooling headroom for high-TDP CPUs

The 8th generation Asetek pump with a three-phase motor delivers higher flow and lower impedance, giving comfortable headroom for modern high-TDP processors on supported sockets. An embedded fan inside the 89 x 91 x 101 mm block adds directed airflow around the VRM area. Loads that exceed the combined capacity of the 240 mm radiator surface and the dual-fan airflow will push coolant temperatures up and fan speeds toward the 2000 RPM ceiling.
