The screw-adjustable column locks anywhere between 2.8 and 4.7 inches, so the bracket cannot support cards that sit lower or higher than that window. A hidden neodymium magnet anchors the base to the steel PSU shroud or floor, but it will not hold on aluminium, tempered glass or non-ferrous panels. The single contact point under the card backplate means very wide triple-slot coolers may still twist slightly under extreme vibration. Builders needing dual-contact or side-mounted reinforcement must look elsewhere.

Tool-Free Install and Common Pitfalls

Installation uses a knurled thumb screw and a locking nut; no tools are required and the three-step process takes under a minute. The most frequent issue is forgetting to tighten the middle nut after setting the height, which lets the column collapse under card weight. Another common error is placing the magnet over a cable routing cut-out where the steel is too thin for a firm grip. On cases with a sloped PSU shroud the bracket can slide unless the non-slip sheet is correctly positioned.
